King Charles' surprise olive branch to Harry and Meghan ahead of Coronation
It comes as Harry confirmed he will attend the Coronation solo.
King Charles has offered a surprising olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ahead of the Coronation in May.
Charles has included a rare, relaxed family portrait taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson in 2018 for His Majesty's 70th birthday in the official Buckingham Palace souvenir programme to accompany the Coronation.
In the photo, which was taken in the gardens at Clarence House, Charles and his wife Camilla are seen laughing with Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan. William and Kate's three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are also included in the sweet photo.

While the photo makes it look as though the family was getting along, it was taken just a few months after Harry and Meghan wed, with the Duchess of Sussex falling out with Kate over Charlotte's bridesmaid dress. Harry was also privately accusing his family of not supporting his wife.
The 84-page souvenir programme is being sold for around $37 AUD and shares stories from Charles and Camilla's life, offering a preview of the Coronation day and service.
William has no interest in mending relationship with Harry
It comes after reports William has no interest in using the Coronation as an opportunity to mend his relationship with Harry, instead choosing to focus on the day at hand.
Speaking to The Sun, Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty Magazine, said the coronation won’t be a time for reconciliations and Prince William thinks it is "for another time".
She added that while Prince Harry’s trip is expected to be an extremely short one, it would be 'nice' for the 38-year-old to 'stick around and be friendly'.
It is understood that the royal will not be taking part in any formal proceedings during the celebration, and he plans to fly straight out after the ceremony.
The coronation is taking place on the same day as Prince Archie’s fourth birthday and it’s reported this is the reason Meghan Markle has decided to give the day a skip.

“Out of politeness you'd think Harry would want to mingle with his family no matter how difficult that might be for him,” she said.
According to The Sun, Harry and Charles put aside their differences to discuss the coronation in a phone call recently, with a “willingness and wanting to mend on both sides”.
