King Charles' coronation: Only reason for Harry's attendance revealed
An insider has revealed it's "not a surprise" the Duke of Sussex is attending.
Prince Harry will receive an "icy reception" from the royal family when he attends the coronation of his father, King Charles, next month, with reports he may be so separated from his family that he will be sitting "10 rows back".
Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, has revealed the only reason the Duke of Sussex will attend the event, which he will only appear at for a brief period of time.
Harry recently confirmed he will be attending the coronation, but his wife Meghan Markle will stay at home with the couple's two children, Prince Archie, whose birthday falls on the same day as the coronation, and Princess Lilibet.
"It is not a surprise," Burrell revealed to GB News. "He is coming to show face. He is coming to put his foot in the door. He is coming because his father wants him to be there.

"His father will be delighted that both his sons will be there to witness this incredible day in his life."
He added that he believes Harry's return will be very brief, similar to his appearance at Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in June last year, where he only appeared at one event, with little interaction with his family.
"Harry is not going to hang around," Burrell continued. "He doesn't want to spend much time around them. There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I'm afraid – I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors.
"He will be sitting 10 rows back. He will not even see his brother or his father in that time. He will be in and out in a flash."

The Duke will not be staying for the coronation concert the following day at Windsor Castle, with a source telling The Mirror, "After much back and forth, Harry said that he would be returning for the King's coronation but it will only be a fleeting visit.
"Organisers have been told Harry won't be attending the concert with the rest of the royal family, which is a great shame as it will be such a spectacular event."
Harry is unlikely to appear on the balcony with his family at Buckingham Palace and is believed to be returning home as soon as possible for Archie's birthday.
