Kerry Washington Goes Hot Pink in Balenciaga With Opera Gloves for Golden Globes 2025 Red Carpet

Kerry Washington looked pretty in pink in a dress from Balenciaga‘s spring 2025 collection at the Golden Globes 2025 on Sunday in Los Angeles. The actress is part of the star-studded lineup of presenters at this year’s ceremony.

Washington’s dress featured a one-shoulder silhouette in a hot pink silk taffeta. She paired it with opera gloves in black spandex and black patent calfskin heels. Washington was styled by Rob Zangardi, who also works with Jennifer Lopez and Hailee Steinfeld. In 2024, Zangardi dressed Washington in designs by Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Tod’s, Vivienne Westwood and Giambattista Valli.

Washington’s hair was styled by hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant Drew using all Pattern Beauty products. “The inspiration was modern sophistication with a sleek, glossy finish that perfectly complemented her vibrant hot pink Balenciaga dress. The aim was to achieve a “glass effect” shine that exuded effortless elegance,” Drew said via statement.

Washington debuted on the Golden Globes red carpet in 2005, wearing a light blue Narciso Rodriguez dress. Since then, she has worn Altuzarra and Dolce & Gabbana to the awards ceremony. In 2014, she chose another look from Balenciaga to attend the Golden Globes, wearing a pale green celadon gown from the luxury brand.

In June, Washington was one of the many stars sitting front row at Balenciaga’s fall 2024 couture collection show during Paris Fashion Week.

The actress has been previously nominated for two Golden Globes for her roles in “Scandal” (2014) and “Confirmation” (2017). In 2024, she debuted her latest film project, “The Six Triple Eight,” with Tyler Perry.

The 2025 Golden Globes ceremony celebrates over eight decades of honoring entertainment excellence. Broadcast on CBS and hosted by Nikki Glaser, this year’s event featured 27 categories, including drama, comedy and limited series.
