Styled by Ali Brooks, whose clients include Adam Lambert and Margaret Cho, Van Ness’s dress featured a rich green satin fabric effortlessly draped. It also featured an asymmetrical neckline with an off-the-shoulder detail dramatically gathered into a semi-puff sleeve. The bodice featured an overlapping crisscross detail and the mid-section of the dress cascaded down into a dramatic train.
Van Ness accessorized very simply, opting for an eclectic selection of rings on either hand and choosing to forgo any other pieces. Their hair was done in a sleek and straight style with a side part. For makeup, Van Ness wore a shimmery eyeshadow, a touch of mascara, blushed cheeks and subtle pink lips with a glossy finish.
