Of course, we now know that Daisy actually self-eliminated after realizing Joey was in love with Kelsey. As she put it, “The thing is, you’re not going to choose me. The last couple days, I realized that, you know, you’re not my person and I know that you know I’m not. And as much as that hurts, I know you said you want the best for me, so I’m going to do what’s best for me and I’m going to go.”

The Bachelor’s season finale aired, and Joey and Kelsey finally confirmed they’re together! And engaged!

Joey told Jesse Palmer, “It’s been great in a lot of ways, but we won’t lie, it’s been difficult too. I think a lot of people forget how difficult of a position that she’s in. And to watch all this back with everyone else and understand that I’m trying to figure out everything from the point that we were at, at that time. But then we’ve grown so much since then.”

He also told People that he and Kelsey have been doing virtual couples counseling, saying, “It’s definitely not easy because we both do appreciate the physical touch. We communicate so much better when we’re actually with each other in the same room. But the couples counseling made a huge difference for us to not only be able to find better ways to communicate but also learn how each of us communicate differently.”

Meanwhile, Joey and Kelsey confirmed they’re planning to spend time in New Orleans over the summer before moving to New York City for a couple of years.

As for when they’re getting married? Not anytime soon. “We want to promise our lives together, but we don’t want to rush it,” Joey explained to People. “It’s time now to enjoy this. We have the rest of our lives to celebrate it. We’re going to take it day by day and just enjoy this time.”

Given the fact that Kelsey lives with two other women, Joey noted, “I’m on a comedy sketch right now. I feel like I’m full-on in a New Girl situation.”

Three months after the couple dished about their roommate sitch, Kelsey revealed that she and Joey have since moved into their own place together. “Household update—we actually are currently living in L.A., just Joey and I,” she told E! News. “Going on this show, I didn’t expect to be engaged. There were 32 women, so the odds weren’t very likely.”

She explained, “I had a lease. I was living and working in New Orleans, so Joey just came to me...I was like, ‘I don’t want to pay two rents.’ That’s why we ended up living with them. But it was only for a short period, and now we’re in L.A. and Joey’s doing Dancing With the Stars.”

Speaking of Dancing With the Stars, Joey shared that Kelsey supported him and helped him practice his moves before the season 33 premiere. “Things are great—Kelsey and I are awesome. And his dance partner, Jenna Johnson, said that he’s been practicing with Kelsey at home.

During an interview with People, Kelsey talked about her upcoming nuptials with Joey and finally gave fans a timeline.

"We're not getting married this year, possibly next year or the following, because we got engaged so fast, we got engaged in two months," she says. "So we want to really take our time still getting to know each other and be really serious about the wedding, and we don't want it to be a stressful thing. We want to be able to enjoy the process of picking out the things that matter most to us in our wedding."

Joey appeared on The Squeeze podcast, where he admited that his DWTS stint was "difficult at times" on his relationship with Kelsey...and no, the reason had nothing to with Jenna. Instead, Joey claimed that the time commitment made it hard to be fully present with Kelsey.

“It was never a walk in the park and it’s literally just because of timing," he said. "I would have loved to have been able to put so much more time into [our relationship] than I physically could have.”

After (many!) fans pointed out that Kelsey hadn't been wearing her engagement ring, she took to TikTok to address the speculation. In the video, she explained that she's been making an effort to wear it less often to avoid "excess wear and tear," such as when she's exercising.

"So I've been trying to practice taking care of it better, and putting it away whenever I get home or whenever I'm working out," she continued. "Because I've kind of warped it a little bit. I have to go get it fixed because one of the diamonds fell out because of how I was taking care of it before. So, now I'm trying to be more responsible."

As far as where she and Joey stand: Kelsey also confirmed that things are "all good in the hood over here." Case closed.
