Jackie O's surprising theory about Dave Grohl affair scandal: 'Could be Australian'

Aussie radio icon Jackie O Henderson has shared a spicy theory about Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl after his bombshell news that he fathered a newborn baby girl outside of his 21-year marriage to Jordyn Blum.

Dave, 55, announced on Instagram earlier this week that he was a father for the fourth time, admitting to cheating on his wife. Dave said he was doing everything in his power to earn back the trust of his wife and their three daughters, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, but that he planned to be involved in his newborn daughter's life.

"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her," the rockstar wrote. "I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

Discussing the drama on KIIS FM's The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday morning, Jackie O had a surprising theory about Dave's love child, and it all hits a little close to home.

"Everyone was shocked when he released a statement," Jackie said. "Obviously he had sex with a fan and maybe he didn't know until now. But he was on tour in Australia nine months ago."

Dave was touring Australia with the Foo Fighters in late November 2023, leading to Jackie speculating that perhaps he's now become the father to an Aussie baby.

"It could be an Australian girl because he said he recently became a father. It could be Australian if [the baby was born] just now," Jackie speculated.

The Foo Fighters had also toured the US and Abu Dhabi before Australia, followed by New Zealand in December 2023. "It could be any number of countries," Kyle Sandilands then pointed out.

Of course, it should be noted that it's not confirmed Dave Grohl actually hooked up with a fan at all — we'll leave that to Dastardly Dave to confirm or deny all in good time.

While some fans were left shocked over Dave's infidelity, gossip account Deuxmoi outed Dave Grohl for cheating on a podcast episode last year, and in an even bigger twist, someone who allegedly knows the Grohl family submitted this fun fact after the news broke.

Reddit threads have also hinted at Dave's apparent infidelities, with Irish Star reporting that an anonymous post from September 2023 read, "This frontman aka nice guy that was once in the most popular 90s band of all time isn't the perfect guy you think he is. I've known him to have a muse/lover for years.
