"In America, we have the opportunity to express ourselves through our voting for our elected officials," she continued. "There are many things that determine how we think or feel about candidates, but I really believe at the end of the day comes down to ONE issue that us important to you and that's what determines your vote. For me it's REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH and the fundamental rights for WOMEN TO CHOOSE what happens to their own bodies."

Curtis went on to explain what the election means to her as a mom with daughters.

"I am the mother of two adopted daughters, and I respect each of their birth mother's CHOICES to bring them to term and then to place them in my care, but I wholeheartedly believe that my daughters should have the RIGHT to make that CHOICE for themselves, and therefore I am voting for @kamalaharris Kamala Harris, who will protect their rights. We cannot go back into the shadows the way we were when reproductive rights were relegated to back alleys and unsafe conditions with fear and shame. PLEASE VOTE TOMORROW! JLC," she concluded her post.
