Grant Ellis and Litia Garr had a mini one-on-one date during Monday's episode of The Bachelor, during which ABC broke their no-phones rule and let Litia call her family.
The moment went down after Litia opened up to Grant about her background, explaining that her father died when she was just three months old and she was raised by her mother. More than anything, Litia expressed how important family is to her, prompting Grant to surprise her with a FaceTime call to her mom back home.
Reality Steve gave some insight into the moment in his podcast, explaining "She got to call her mother on FaceTime. Obviously, her phone or somebody's phone was given to Grant to do that. Doesn't mean she was able to have her phone the whole show, it was just hey, for the sake of this date, we'll let you call your mother on FaceTime. And she was sitting on Grant's lap when she called. And that was it."
Sooo, point is: the contestants definitely have access to their loved ones if a call is needed! Love that Litia got to connect with her family, and based on her and Grant's vibes it seems like she'll go far.
