I'm A Celebrity stars' eye-watering salaries revealed
Some of the celebrity cast are walking away with a huge pay cheque.
The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! stars are currently toughing it out in the South African jungle, with each contestant fighting for a $100,000 prize going to charity. However, their chosen charities aren’t the only winners, with the stars pocketing an eye-watering amount just to appear on the series.
According to Daily Mail, the celebrity cast have commanded impressive salaries ranging from $35,000 to $180,000. It comes as no surprise, as Channel Ten have been known to dig deep when it comes to the show, with Shane Warne claiming he was paid $2 million dollars for his appearance in 2016.
The highest-paid star this year is Kerri-Anne Kennerley, with sources telling the publication she secured a cool $180,000 to join the cast. Producers have been asking the Aussie TV legend to head to the jungle for every season since it premiered in 2015, but it took the whopping pay cheque to finally convince her to say yes.

In an interview with news.com.au prior to entering the jungle, Kerri-Anne also revealed she had negotiated some special “provisos” in her contract.
The 69-year-old told producers she would only compete on the reality TV show if she was able to bring beauty products with her.
Not too far behind Kerri-Anne is Channel Ten star Peter Helliar, who quit The Project last year in what was dubbed as a ‘mass exodus’. The comedian, 47, is said to be earning $90,000 for his appearance.
Former Australian Idol and Australia’s Got Talent judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickinson has also secured a decent salary. The 60-year-old is reportedly being paid $80,000 for his short stint in the jungle.
Some of the less high-profile celebrities are earning a smaller wage of just $50,000, including MAFS star Domenica Calarco, radio host Woody Whitelaw and AFL player Adam Cooney.

While Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby was rumoured to have taken home a $1 million dollar fee when she appeared on I’m A Celeb in 2020, this year’s Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry isn’t pocketing much in comparison.
The star, who boasts over 1.4 million followers on Instagram, is earning a measly $35,000 for his appearance.
