I'm A Celebrity star's cryptic post after abruptly quitting show

I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here star Olivia Attwood has shared a cryptic message on social media after she abruptly quit the show after just 24 hours.

The model and Love Island star had landed in Australia to film the UK version of the show, but quit due to reasons "beyond her control" after appearing in the debut episode. A representative for the star posted a message on social media addressing Olivia's shock decision to leave the show after such a short period.

“To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement,” the post shared on her Instagram Stories read.

“She dreamt of doing I’m A Celebrity for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

“However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short.

“You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the new year.”

The Mirror reports the model was forced to quit the show due to medical reasons. A TV source told the publication she wanted to continue filming, however, her medical team made the decision she had to leave.

A source also told The Sun that Olivia had been involved in a "medical drama". The show's official Instagram account shared a post adding she had to leave to undergo medical checks as a precautionary measure.

"Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation," the post said.

"She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

Olivia had expressed her excitement about appearing on the show on her Instagram, describing it as the "opportunity of a lifetime" in one clip she shared.

On the post, fans expressed their disappointment Olivia had left the show.

"Hope Olivia is okay. Must have been something serious if they won't let her back in," one said.

"So gutted she’s had to leave it would have been sooo much more entertaining with her, hope she’s ok," another said.

"Gutted you were the only reason I was gonna watch it," a third fan added.
