Yahoo Lifestyle Hoda and Kathie's Adorable Reunion Has 'Today' Fans "Screaming" Online
Ahead of her Today show exit, Hoda Kotb reunited with a former NBC co-star for a rare outing along with their respective families.
It's only a few weeks until Hoda's last episode of the morning show on January 10, and she's enjoying a preview of what life could be away from the cameras! As she shared on Instagram on December 8, Hoda reunited with former co-star Kathie Lee Gifford to partake in one of America's favorite pastimes during the colder months.
As the duo got their families together (including Hoda's older daughter Haley Joy, Kathie's daughter Cassidy and son Cody and her grandchildren) to watch the New York Giants play the New Orleans Saints, Hoda couldn't help but document how exciting it was to be with some of her favorite people.
"@nygiants and @saints great day @metlifestadium," she wrote alongside the series of images.
Naturally, seeing Hoda and Kathie Lee reunite had many people reacting... including some of the two's mutual friends and Today cast members.
"Best. Ever!" Savannah Guthrie wrote in the comments. "❤️❤️," Jenna Bush Hager replied.
What's more, folks were equally thrilled seeing Hoda and Kathie Lee together again. "I'm screaming over this ❤️❤️," one person penned. "Hoda and Kathie!!!!! I miss you two! ❤️," another exclaimed. "Awww!!! Love this so much!!! The dream team. KLG and Hoda 😍," a different follower replied.
It's always a delight to see Hoda and Kathie back in step with one another! And Kathie is the perfect person for Hoda to lean on amid the next chapter of her life, as she also left Today in 2019 to enjoy more time with her family and friends.
So, how does Kathie feel about Hoda leaving the Today show? As she wrote on X (formerly Twitter) back in September, Kathie is excited by what magic could come to Hoda's life in this new journey.
