Mark Consuelos, David Schwimmer had 'sexual chemistry' during “Friends” cameo, Kelly Ripa says

Mark Consuelos' charming cameo on Friends inspired some "sexual chemistry" with David Schwimmer, the daytime TV host's wife, Kelly Ripa, jokingly observed.

Schwimmer joined Consuelos and Ripa on Tuesday's episode of Live to promote his role on the new season of Goosebumps, and Consuelos engaged the actor in a bit of Friends trivia between questions about the upcoming project.

"How is your Friends trivia? Do you think you're really good at it?" Consuelos asked, teeing up a surprise clip. "We're going to check your Friends trivia. We're going to watch a little clip, and I want you to name the actor in this scene."

The show then played a short portion of the 2001 Friends season 7 episode titled "The One With Chandler's Dad," in which Consuelos had a cameo as a police officer who pulls over Ross (Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston).

"Oh my God," a stunned Schwimmer said when the cameras cut back to the trio in the Live studio.

"The sexual chemistry between you two was palpable in that scene," Ripa quipped as the audience cheered, before Consuelos threw Live to a commercial break.

Tuesday's episode is far from the only time Ripa has referenced her husband's sensual energy. In November, after announcing a steamy ad campaign starring her husband, Ripa showed the audience a nearly nude photo — an outtake from the shoot — that she had saved on her phone.
