However, arguably the biggest first-time winner of the night was Demi Moore, who took home the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy for her exceptional work as Elisabeth Sparkle in The Substance.

Her win marks her first major acting award EVER, which is honestly wild considering she's DEMI FREAKIN' MOORE.

This was her fourth Golden Globes nomination after previously being nominated for Ghost and If These Walls Could Talk in 1991 and 1997, respectively. For If These Walls Could Talk, she was nominated for acting and producing the project.

Demi was shocked by her win and got emotional on stage as she talked about her career in Hollywood, saying, "I really wasn't expecting that. I'm just in shock right now. I've been doing this a long time, like, over 45 years, and this is the first time I've ever won anything as an actor, and I'm just so humbled and so grateful."

Her acceptance speech was hailed as one of the best of the evening where she recalled a producer once calling her a "popcorn actress" and how that "corroded [her] over time to the point where [she] thought a few years ago that maybe this was it."

Demi concluded with, "And so today, I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and of the love that is driving me and for the gift of doing something I love and being reminded that I do belong."

Her speech received a huge round of applause from the audience, and shortly after it happened, a clip of her daughters Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis, alongside other friends and family, was posted to Instagram and began to go viral. The clip shows Demi's daughters screaming with excitement the second her name is called.
