Hailee Steinfeld’s Strapless Gown and Josh Allen’s Black Suit Make Perfect Match on the NFL Honors 2025 Red Carpet

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen opted for coordinated couple dressing at the NFL Honors 2025 on Thursday in New Orleans. The Oscar-nominated “True Grit” actress and Buffalo Bills quarterback announced their engagement in November 2024.

For the occasion, Allen opted for a classic look, wearing a black suit with tailored trousers and a double-breasted blazer for his sleek and stylish attire.

The athlete also wore a crisp white button-down shirt and a black tie to match. Allen completed his look with a pair of black patent leather shoes. As for Steinfeld, the actress and singer opted for her own take on a classic wardrobe staple.

Steinfeld wore her take on the classic little black dress, opting for a midi strapless dress with a plunging neckline. The actress coordinated her dress with a pair of black pointed toe pumps. As for her accessories, Steinfeld wore a glittering statement necklace along with small earrings and her engagement ring.

While Steinfeld opted for a wardrobe staple for Thursday’s fête, she’s previously demonstrated her versatility for trendy pieces on another red carpet. In October 2024, the actress attended the “Arcane” season two premiere in Los Angeles, wearing a black gown with a dramatic cutout and peekaboo bra element courtesy of The New Arrivals by İlkyaz Özel. The peekaboo bra trend saw a major resurgence in 2024 thanks to Kristen Stewart, Sydney Sweeney and more stars.

Steinfeld’s October red carpet appearance came just one month before her engagement to Allen. The couple began dating in May 2023. On Nov. 22, Allen proposed to Steinfeld. A photo of the proposal was shared to Steinfeld’s official Instagram account.

Fans can watch the NFL Honors live on Fox and NFL Network, streaming through NFL+. The ceremony also precedes the Super Bowl LIX, which will take place on Sunday with a matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
