Guy Fieri and Son Ryder Announce Devastating Family Loss

Guy Fieri, celebrity chef and star of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and his younger son Ryder shared a sad update with fans as they announced that the family dog Roxy passed away.

Ryder was the first to share the news, posting an old photo on Instagram Stories of himself as a young boy lying on the ground with his arm around a sleeping Roxy, writing, "R.I.P. to my best friend❤️❤️ Love you Rox ❤️."

Fieri then re-shared the photo and added, "So proud of my son @_ryderfieri for flying home for 5 hrs to say goodbye to his dog Roxy. She lived a great life with our family we are going to miss her."

The Fieri family has raised multiple dogs over the years and in January 2023, Fieri announced the death of their German shepherd named Cowboy, writing on X with a photo of the pup, "Today is the saddest day in the Fieri family. We lost our COWBOY today. He was one a kind and brought so much love and energy to our family."

Thankfully, their other dog, a French bulldog named Cash, appears to be doing well, even appearing on Fieri's Instagram grid a couple of weeks ago to celebrate his third birthday. Fieri shared a snap of himself driving his convertible with Cash on his lap enjoying the nice weather.

He added a few more photos of Cash over the years, sharing the sweet message, "Happy 3rd Birthday to my shadow CASH 🎈🎉🦴 Hikes Boat rides Car rides Filming You name it…He wants in on every adventure."

It appeared that Fieri's son Ryder was particularly close with the late Roxy, likely making the goodbye extra emotional for him and his family. Along with Ryder, Fieri and his wife, Lori, are parents to son Hunter, who has not publicly reacted to the loss.
