Grammys to Take Place as Scheduled and Raise Relief Funds for Los Angeles Wildfires
Amid multiple productions taking a step back from filming during the Los Angeles wildfires, the Grammys will proceed as scheduled, according to our sister site The Hollywood Reporter.
The 2025 Grammys are still set to air Sunday, Feb. 2 in L.A., live from the Crypto.com Arena (check out how to watch online). While all eyes will be on the nominees, the Grammys will also focus on raising money for wildfire relief efforts.

“In close coordination with local authorities to ensure public safety and responsible use of area resources, the 67th Grammy Awards telecast on CBS on February 2nd will proceed as planned,” said Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. and Chair of the board of trustees Tammy Hurt in a letter to Academy members. “This year’s show, however, will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”
Some of this year’s 2025 nominees include Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar and Chappell Roan. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist with 11 nods this year.
Relatedly, some L.A.-based series like Abbott Elementary, All American and The Pitt have resumed production, with Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage scheduled to go back to work later this week. Grey’s Anatomy and Doctor Odyssey are still on hold.
