Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen is unrecognisable in a brand new photo shared with her fans.
The 28-year-old played the character of Jenny Humphrey in the television series from 2007-2011, and then retired from acting to focus full-time on a music career.
Taylor now fronts the band The Pretty Reckless, and has completely transformed from the sweet, naive characters she previously played on screen.
Her band was due to start a tour in early July but cancelled a string of shows after Covid finally caught up with the band members.
The former model shocked fans when she appeared bare-faced on Instagram a week later, to celebrate her Covid-free status and announce the new start date of the tour.
“Free and clear!” she wrote on Instagram. “See you Friday at Rockfest in Cadott, WI.”
“YAY! So glad you beat it, hope it stays that way…you look so beautiful,” one follower gushed.
“This is the best news! So happy to have you back on the road rocking!!” a fan wrote.
“WHAT IS YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE? I’m sorry for yelling but I have never seen such healthy skin,” a third chimed in.
“Natural beauty! Glad to hear you’re doing better!” another added.
The Pretty Reckless: Death By Rock and Roll tour continues until November, and has the band playing throughout North America and Europe.
Taylor has released four albums with her band, and has seen some success in the charts. Their music has been used on television shows such as The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl and the film Kick-Ass.
The Pretty Reckless has also opened for notable acts, such as Evanescence and Fall Out Boy, with Taylor even appearing on one of Evanescence’s tracks.
