The TV personality confirmed his bike accident injuries have healed since the June incident
Gordon Ramsay is reflecting on his “incredible” 2024!
The MasterChef star, 58, posted a video on Instagram on Monday, Dec. 30, celebrating the end of 2024, and provided a peek at his eventful year. Ramsay included a brief clip of his injuries from an accident that happened while he was biking in Connecticut in June.
“What an incredible 2024! Have a Happy New Year (and yes the bruise has healed) Gx,” he captioned the video.
Ramsay’s clip of his bruise, which was a deep purple and on his entire side abdomen, was taken while the celebrity chef was cooking in a kitchen. Although he confirmed the bruise has healed, he revealed around the time of the accident that it “really shook" him. He was admitted to a hospital for care after he was “bruised up looking like a purple potato.”
“Honestly, I’m lucky to be here,” Ramsay said at the time. “I’m in pain. It’s been a brutal week,” he added. “And I’m sort of getting through it. But I cannot tell you the importance of wearing a helmet.”
In addition to looking back on the scary accident, Ramsay celebrated his recovery and other exciting new ventures. Throughout the video, he documented spending time in the kitchen of his various restaurants, which include Lucky Cat, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Gordon Ramsay Burger, Street Pizza, Ramsay’s Kitchen and Hell’s Kitchen.
The TV personality also added a sweet photo alongside his wife Tana and daughter Tilly, 23, at her University of Nottingham graduation, where she earned a degree in psychology.
