I'm A Celebrity's major blunder as they accidentally reveal contestant's identity

Channel 10 appears to have accidentally revealed the identity of the TV host heading into the jungle on the upcoming 11th season of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! Australia. The blunder came after the network shared a teaser video on Monday where they failed to remove a telling clue.

In the teaser, the celebrity's face was hidden and her voice was distorted as she shared clues about her identity. However, producers made the mistake of failing to remove her unique and recognisable engagement ring before filming the video.

Within moments of sharing the video, which appears to have since been deleted, many fans guessed that the TV host is Nicky Buckley.

The clues for the TV host say they are "trading the fame game for the fun and games of the jungle, and we think it’ll be a scream!"

In the since deleted video, the host shared emojis teasing her identity, which also seemingly confirms that it's Nicky.

She used a TV emoji, which likely references Nicky’s longstanding career in front of the camera, most noticeably as the co-host of Perfect Match in the early 1990s.

The weather emoji appears to acknowledge Nicky’s years as a weatherwoman for Nine, and the dancing emoji aligns with her appearance on Dancing With The Stars in 2005.

I'm A Celebrity fans reveal guesses for the TV Host

In a video shared in November, the voiceover says, "She's a TV host who's no stranger to the fame game... But can she take out the jungle jackpot?"

One Instagram user shared their two cents when the initial clue was released, writing, "Based on the clue 'Fame Game' we can narrow it down to one of the co-hosts of Sale of the Century or Temptation. Now, based on this, we can narrow it down to the following people: Lavina Nixon, Karina Brown, Nicky Buckley, Jo Silvagni, Alyce Platt, Delvene Delaney and Victoria Nicolls."

They added, "Now out of those, I would say it's more likely going to be Delvene, Nicky or Lavinia."

"Nicky Buckley, especially with the jackpot clue from her days with Sale of the Century," another agreed.

"I’m with you! Nicky Buckley," a third said.

Fans have previously guessed the TV Host heading into the jungle will be Georgia Love, Sonia Kruger or former MasterChef judge Melissa Leong - who has previously been tipped to join the new season.
