The Girl Scouts Just Announced Two Changes to Their Cookie Lineup
The holidays might be over but it’s officially the most wonderful time of the year! That’s right, we’re talking about Girl Scout Cookie season.
The 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Season kicked off on Tuesday, January 7, bringing with it a bevy of classic cookie flavors, including Tagalongs (now referred to as Peanut Butter Patties), Thin Mints, Samoas (rebranded as Caramel deLites), Trefoils, and Do-si-dos (dubbed Peanut Butter Sandwich), as well as newer varieties like Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Lemonades, and more. In other words, you’re going to want to stock up. And while you’re at it, you might consider adding a few extra boxes of Girl Scout S’mores® and Toast-Yay! Cookies to your bag. After all, it’s the last season you’ll be able to enjoy them, as the two flavors are retiring after the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Season.
Already clearing your pantry to make room? While local grocery stores tend to have Girl Scout Cookie booths posted out front, you can also search your zipcode online to find the cookie dealer closest to you. Meanwhile, if you don’t want to have to go out of your way to pick up cookies, you can now get them delivered directly to your home—you’ll just have to be patient, as orders can’t be placed until February 21.
The 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Season delivers delicious flavor to cookie lovers nationwide—but that’s not all. The world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls, Girl Scout Cookie Season teaches young girls the value of goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
“Girl Scout Cookie season is about so much more than selling the iconic cookies people know and love,” GSUSA Chief Revenue Officer Wendy Lou said in a release. “The funds girls earn throughout the season directly power girls’ journeys in leadership, entrepreneurship, and community building. The sweet success of each sale is a testament to how much girls can change the world when they put their minds to it.”
So if you’re looking for a way to support your community, young girls, and your sweet tooth, you know what to do.
