Pamela Anderson reaches over to fix “The View” cohost Sunny Hostin’s slipping dress during interview: 'She’s a “girl” girl!'
"The Last Showgirl" star extended a helping hand to Hostin during an interview live on the air.
The Last Showgirl star Pamela Anderson put the on-air showgirls of The View first in her mind during a live interview on Friday morning.
In the middle of the 57-year-old's on-air discussion about the film, cohost Sunny Hostin segued into a question for the Canadian actress while, unbeknownst to her, her shoulder-baring dress had slipped down her arm enough to reveal the top of the panelist's undergarment.
While Hostin spoke, Anderson reached over and pulled Hostin's dress up to cover the exposed garment, prompting Hostin to pause her question and smile.

"Thank you!" Hostin exclaimed as the audience applauded the Baywatch sex symbol's gesture. "See, she's a girl girl!"
Hostin again thanked Anderson before highlighting the star's enduring beauty.
"You look beautiful," Hostin told Anderson, who deliberately foregoes makeup on red carpets and live appearances, including on The View. "I'll be 57 this year as well, so thank you for doing it so gracefully."

Unfortunately, cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin wasn't lucky enough to have Anderson sitting in on a July 2023 View broadcast to fix her extreme shoulder-baring wardrobe malfunction — but, thankfully for audiences, moderator Whoopi Goldberg was there with a pair of scissors. In the end, Griffin was spared from Goldberg's snippers, as the show actually welcomed a wardrobe department member to the set to confirm that Griffin walked out to set while wearing her shirt incorrectly, and that it didn't need impromptu alterations.
The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC. The Last Showgirl is now playing in theaters.
