Kardashian Family Evacuates Their Hidden Hills Homes After Criticism Amid California Wildfires

Members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are adding to the growing number of celebrities being forced to evacuate their homes amid the devastating Palisades and surrounding Los Angeles area fires.

The famous family, who all live in separate homes, was affected by the mandatory evacuation order that was issued due to the quickly-spreading Kenneth Fire threatening their Hidden Hills neighborhoods.

As of Thursday night, Jan. 9, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian all fled their houses, according to TMZ.

The evacuation order had been lifted as of Friday, Jan. 10, but it's unclear if any of the reality TV stars have returned to their homes.

Despite having to leave the area themselves, though, the family still displayed immense "generosity" amid the devastating disaster, putting their philanthropic efforts on full display as they worked together to provide meals to first responders.

As Parade previously reported, during the late evening hours on Thursday, Carousel Restaurant—an L.A. hotspot serving up authentic Lebanese dishes—revealed that the Kardashian family had donated an undisclosed number of meals to several of the area's fire stations valued at a little over $2,000, per a receipt in one of the photos.

"We proudly delivered meals to several fire stations today 🚒Thank you to the frontline members for your dedication to your communities. A special thank you to the Kardashian family for funding the meals—your generosity knows no bounds," the eatery wrote in the caption of its Jan. 9 Instagram upload.

Shortly before, the SKIMS owner had been called out by fans for her lack of posting about resources available for those affected by the tragedy—unlike her sisters Khloé and Kourtney—and instead, opting to share a countdown to her brand's winter sale.

As of Friday evening, Jan. 10, CNN Weather reported that fire officials were responding to "at least 6 fires in the region, including the Archer, Eaton, Hurst, Kenneth, Lidia and Palisades fires. They have spread to roughly 36,384 acres combined." The Sunset Fire that was previously raging had been 100% contained.
