Fans Beg Travis Kelce to Stop Risky Practice Moves Seen in New Video: 'No More of That'

A move Travis Kelce pulled on the field has some fans feeling concerned for his well-being ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

In a video obtained by Kansas City Star reporter Jesse Newell and shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, the 35-year-old tight end attempted what fans are called a potentially dangerous move during a recent Chiefs practice—and it stirred up quite a commotion online.

As evidenced by the clip, Kelce jumped in an attempt to block defensive end Charles Omenihu, whose strength overcomes Kelce and knocks him to the ground.

"Do not hurt yourself, Trav," one X user begged. "Not today."

Similarly, someone else asked, "Can we not do this before the Super Bowl? We don’t need our TE tearing an ACL right before the game."

"Save the jumping for after the game!!!" another worried fan responded, even tagging the football player. "@tkelce."

"Yeah no more of that please," one more pleaded. "Seeing trav fall like that had me feeling uneasy.

Aside from the big game on Feb. 9, this weekend also has the potential to be a big one for Kelce, who could potentially make his first red carpet appearance with his pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Swift was recently announced as a presenter during this year's Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 2, and her Tortured Poets Departmentwhich she announced at last year's event—is nominated for nine trophies at the 2025 award show.

Whether or not he'll join Swift for the big awards show is unclear, as the event falls one week before the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, so he could be busy with prep or practice.
