In case you were wondering, Speidi is still going strong. The Hills alumni Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have not only been married since 2008 but have collaborated on business ventures and built a life together. Case in point: The couple went bankrupt while working on Heidi's 2010 ~masterpiece~ of a pop album, Superficial, in which they enlisted the industry's top writers and producers.
And now—15 years later—the project officially hit No. 1 on the iTunes charts thanks to her viral TikTok hit, "I'll Do It," beating out Bad Bunny's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and the Wicked movie soundtrack.
On January 7, Spencer revealed that he and Heidi lost their home during the Pacific Palisades wildfire and went on to ask fans to stream and buy Superficial in a series of TikTok videos. A few days later, the album climbed to No. 1 on iTunes.
"Thank you everyone who went on the iTunes charts," Heidi said in a TikTok posted on January 13. "Thank you for the overwhelming love and support for my music and really rallying behind us at a devastating time and making it such a blessing. So, thank you for helping support us. For helping build us back up, helping to encourage us, giving us that hope and faith and excitement in such a dark, dark time."
"So thank you so much, number 1," she added. "I can’t believe it, and it’s the 15-year anniversary of Superficial so the timing is just crazy. It’s so crazy."
