Armed with fast, reliable service and a diverse menu that keeps customers coming back for more, Domino's is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional pizza.
Though the brand regularly introduces new flavor combinations and innovative creations, this time, we have social media to thank for the newest viral Domino's combo. All over TikTok, folks are swapping out the traditional marinara sauce for garlic parmesan sauce (plus a few other customizations) and raving about the results. After seeing a few of these videos, I knew I had to give it a try. Here's how it went.

What I Thought About the Viral Domino's Pizza
With the way social media raved about this order, I was anticipating it to be the best thing since sliced bread, so heading to pick it up was truly exciting. But before I jump into why this wasn't my favorite viral creation, I'd like to start with the things that made this work.
The pan pizza crust is the foundation of this pie—it's thick and fluffy with a perfect crispy edge. The crust holds up well under the generous load of sauce and toppings, staying satisfyingly crispy without getting soggy.
Next, for those who like to add a little uniqueness to their meals, the garlic parmesan sauce is a delicious alternative to traditional marinara. The creamy, garlicky, tangy flavor perfectly complements the hearty toppings. The beef, bacon, and Philly steak are a trifecta of meaty goodness. The bacon adds a salty crunch, while the Philly steak provides a tender, gourmet touch.

What truly sets this pizza apart, however, is the cheese. In addition to the standard mozzarella, an extra layer of cheddar cheese blend adds a sharp, gooey richness that elevates the entire pizza. The result is an indulgent, flavor-packed experience that’s perfect for pizza lovers seeking something extra special. It's also worth mentioning that—with tax—I only paid $12.71 for a medium pizza.
For me, what turned this pizza from a hit to a miss was the amount of garlic parmesan sauce. I'm not sure if my local Domino's location added too much sauce or if it was the intended amount, but it was too much for me. To be honest, I couldn't see myself ordering this version of pizza again.
That, however, is just one person's experience. So, like any viral item, you'll just have to try it for yourself to see!
