Delta's boyfriend 'shut out' of The Voice Australia
Blind auditions on The Voice Australia are in full swing, with Delta Goodrem’s team slowly filling up.
But while the Aussie star has many fans watching on in the audience, there was one person who reportedly wasn’t allowed to cheer her on during production.
According to Woman’s Day, this year’s judges - Delta, Boy George, Kelly Rowland and Guy Sebastian - were cautioned against bringing entourages to set to avoid distractions, as they’re considered “large and often unruly”.
However, Delta’s boyfriend Matthew Copley believes the directive might have been specifically aimed at him, given Delta’s close relationship with executive producer Leigh Aramberri, the publication reports.
“Matthew’s naturally a bit intimidated by their close relationship,” a source told the magazine, revealing Leigh and Delta sometimes refer to each other as ‘hubby’ and ‘wifey’ on set.
“He’s not the type of guy to put up with another guy circling his woman.”

Familiar faces return to The Voice
Eight years after winning Australia’s Got Talent, Jack Vidgen returned to the stage in a big way, as one of a few familiar faces having a second go at fame.
Delighting fans of The Voice on Sunday night, the now 22-year-old belted out a soulful rendition of Adele’s Hello, bringing many in the studio audience to their feet and prompting all four coaches to turn around.
“Yes!” screamed Delta, as the crowd loudly cheered.
While he was immediately recognised by both Delta and Guy, the other two coaches were shocked by the rousing reception he got from the studio audience.
