This year’s season of Dancing With The Stars may have only recently finished airing on TV, but one Australian celebrity has already put their hand up to take part in the competition in 2025. The reality show has seen a string of famous faces hit the dance floor over the past two decades, from actors like Chris Hemsworth to politicians like Pauline Hanson.

Following her recent appearances on The Masked Singer and The Amazing Race, children’s performer Emma Watkins has revealed that she’d love for Dancing With The Stars to be the next reality show she competes in. The former Wiggles member told Yahoo Lifestyle at the 2024 Logie Awards that she’s been asked to do “a few” reality shows in the past and has turned them down because “they’re all a little bit much”, but she’s never received an offer for the competition series.

“I’d love to do Dancing With The Stars if I could do anything!” she exclaimed. “I'm happy just to be like, maybe Sonia [Kruger]'s apprentice? Just hang around like, ‘Hi, can I help you?’.”

Emma added that while she’s studied a variety of dance styles and was known for doing ballet when she was a part of the Wiggles, she’s never done ballroom dancing before.

“Come on, let’s do it!” she remarked.

Emma’s most recent reality TV appearance was on last year’s season of The Amazing Race Australia alongside her sister Hayley. The duo finished in equal first place alongside Darren McMullen and his nephew Tristan and Alli Simpson and her mother Angie and split the $100,000 between their chosen charities.

Ahead of this year’s season, Emma told Yahoo Lifestyle that she has some important advice for the new group of celebrity contestants.

“You just need to be nice to each other, your partner, and just be there for each other and support each other, because there's no way you can get through on your own,” she shared.
