While there’s always room for new creations, America’s greatest mix-in dessert is known to bring out the seasonal hits from the DQ Freezer. This year, fans won’t need to wait any longer, however, for their favorite St. Patrick’s Day treat. Those who fancy the delightfully minty flavors of DQ’s Mint OREO Blizzard can now satisfy that craving without having to wait for March 17.
For those who’ve yet to have a taste, the Mint OREO Blizzard features OREO cookie pieces and a cool mint topping. Together, they are blended with DQ’s world-famous soft serve until the mixture is satisfyingly thick, perfectly textured and incapable of falling out of the cup when flipped upside down. According to the pros at Dairy Queen, this seasonal treat “delivers the St. Patrick's Day celebration you’ve been waiting for—where every spoonful feels like finding a four-leaf clover.”
Is your mouth watering yet? As it turns out, this year is gearing up to be a big one for fans of the brand's soft serve creations. At the end of 2024, Dairy Queen confirmed that 2025 would mark the return of the S’mores Blizzard, and the brand was also reportedly trying out dipped cones at select DQ locations. Who knows what else is to come from the popular fast food chain, but what we do know is we are here for every sweet and savory bit of it.
