Yahoo Lifestyle Ciara Puts Sheer Spin on Little Black Dress for Tory Burch’s Fall 2025 NYFW Front Row
Ciara gave the little black dress a sultry update at Tory Burch’s fall 2025 fashion show in New York on Monday. The “Goodies” artist sat front row alongside Martha Stewart and Amanda Seyfried for the designer’s latest presentation.
Ciara modeled a sheer dress with white trim from Burch’s spring 2025 collection, which featured panels of black and brown fabric. She accessorized with a taupe teddy coat, oversize frames and a pair of the label’s pierced pumps in black.

The Grammy winner added a retro twist to her glam, wearing her honey blond tresses in a 1960s-inspired flip. Her makeup, meanwhile, consisted of sparkly bronze eye shadow, nude lip liner and gloss.
Ciara has been on a sheer kick lately, embracing the transparent trend at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles earlier this month, where she donned a black gown with crystal embellishments and a matching cape.
Fashion designer Aurora James’ Fifteen Percent Pledge was founded in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd, asking companies to reflect the Black community by dedicating 15 percent of their shelf space to Black-owned brands. This year’s gala, cohosted by Fifteen Percent Pledge chairwoman and Skims founding partner Emma Grede, raised $3 million for Black-owned businesses.
“In light of recent attacks on DEI, and as we go into an election year, it’s really important to remind people that this isn’t a political agenda, it’s about creating actual opportunity for small American-owned businesses,” James told WWD.
Speaking to WWD last fall at the New York launch party for her Bebe capsule, Ciara described the collection’s release as a “pinch yourself kind of moment.”
Her new capsule, available to shop now, features a full range of apparel and accessories such as knitwear, outerwear, watches and handbags. The collection even includes nods to her children with Wilson — various shoe and loungewear styles bear the names Sienna, Win and Amora.
