Christina Haack’s Ex Josh Hall Left 'Speechless' During 30-Second Cameo on Latest “Christina in the Country”
"I’m at a loss for words," Hall told Haack, from whom he filed for divorce in July, on the most recent episode of her HGTV spinoff
Christina Haack's estranged husband Josh Hall made another appearance in the new season of Christina in the Country.
The second season of Haack's HGTV spinoff series premiered on Tuesday, Nov. 12 and was filmed before she and Hall split last July.
The show follows the Christina on the Coast star as she expands her business from California to Tennessee and gets a taste of country life with her family, which includes kids Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, whom she shares with ex husband Tarek El Moussa; and Hudson, 5, whom she shares with her second ex husband Ant Anstead.
Hall’s only appearance in the Nov. 26 episode "Basement Blow Out!" was notably brief and shows him having an awkward encounter with Haack and the kids as they are washing the family chickens inside their Leiper's Fork farmhouse.
In a confessional, Haack explains, "In Tennessee, our chickens are our pets. I want to bring them inside and cuddle with them on the couch. But we can’t do that until we give them a bath."
She continues to say that the chickens must be thoroughly washed and blow dried before they can roam the house.
Hall walks in on Haack, Taylor and Brayden as they are giving the chickens a cleaning in the bathroom. "I’m kinda speechless," he says as he enters the room. "I shouldn’t be at this point, but…"
Haack and Taylor have the chickens bundled in white towels and are using a blow dryer on their wet feathers while Brayden watches.

"We’re like a full blown chicken hair salon in here," Haack quips to which Hall replies, "I was literally just gonna say, are you opening up a grooming center for chickens?"
Haack goes on to describe the chickens as "so happy now."
However, Hall seems to be much less enthused. "I’m at a loss for words," he says before leaving the room. Undeterred, Haack calls out, "love you!" to her retreating partner.
The series featured Josh in multiple scenes — and better spirits — in the premiere episode as the then-couple have a discussion about their plans to work on a few projects in Tennessee.
"I have some good news," Christina says to Josh in the episode. "I know how much you love Tennessee. I’ve gotten some inquiries lately and a few of them are really good, so I feel like it’s time we go back there and start some new projects, new families, new contractors."
"Oh it’s been time," Josh cuts in.

Christina’s Tennessee home, where she and Hall lived with her children while filming, is central to the show and has become a point of contention for the exes after he filed for divorce on July 15.
Christina put the six-bedroom home up for sale for $4.5 million in October, while Josh was living their following the split, a source previously confirmed to PEOPLE. She removed the listing less than a month later.
The mom of three purchased the home in February 2021, before she met her now-estranged husband.
In a 2023 episode of the home renovation show, Hall and Haack proudly showed off their chicken coop which features black and white paint and a double gable roof. The coop was designed to match the overall design of the farm house.
"I love that the coop matches our house and has so much space, so we can get endless amounts of chickens and roosters," Christina says in the episode.
