Chrissy Teigen's Daughter Luna, 8, Presents Her Emotional Mom with a 'Courage Award': 'You Fight for a Better World'
Chrissy Teigen shares four children with her husband John Legend
Chrissy Teigen tearfully accepted a special award from her eldest daughter.
On Sunday, Jan. 19, the television personality shared a sweet video on Instagram, where her daughter Luna, 8, presented her with a "Courage Award" that she appeared to have constructed herself out of paper.
"Chrissy Teigen, I am proud to present to you the 'Courage Award,' " Luna said. "This is because you always stand up for what's right, even when it's hard. You stand up for women, you help people in need and you fight for a better world."

After accepting her award, Teigen gave her daughter a hug before asking if she should give a speech. Luna enthusiastically began chanting "speech," prompting the Cravings cookbook author to thank her family.
"Well, I would like to thank my family because everything I do is for you guys, and that's the truth," she said. "I love you so much. Thank you."
The post also featured a collection of family photos and videos, with the last one showing Teigen placing her daughter's homemade "Courage Award' on the mantle.
Teigen and her husband John Legend have four children — Luna, Miles Theodore, 6, Esti Maxine, 2, and Wren Alexander, 19 months. Before Esti and Wren, the couple experienced a pregnancy loss in Sept. 2020. To honor Baby Jack, Teigen and Legend have matching tattoos and planted a "Tree of Life" at their Beverly Hills home.
The cookbook author opened up to PEOPLE in Aug. 2023 about the reality of raising four children.
"For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies," she said. "There's a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you're coddling these two little babies and they're not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved."
