Chrissy Teigen Admits It’s ‘Hard to Wrangle a Photo’ of Her Son Miles, 6, as She Shares Glimpse of Fun Family Moments
The cookbook author is mom to four kids with husband John Legend
Chrissy Teigen is sharing a glimpse into her sweet and chaotic family life!
On Wednesday, Dec. 11, the model, 39, shared a series of photos and videos of her large family spending some quality time together on Instagram.
Her husband John Legend, 45, made an appearance in the heartfelt post, along with their kids Luna Simone, 8, Esti Maxine, 1, and Wren Alexander, 1. Their oldest son, Miles Theodore, 6, was not pictured.
In the comments, the proud mom of four addressed why Miles was not featured in the post after a fan asked about his absence. She wrote, "[It is] extremely hard to wrangle a photo out of him."
Teigen kept her caption simple with a row of six white heart emojis and let the precious family moments do the talking.
From a close-up snap of little Esti looking at the camera while wearing a pair of upside down, oversized wire glasses to another shot of the toddler playing with a large diamond ring on her finger, there was lots of cuteness to go around.
Following in their cookbook author mom's footsteps, mini-foodies Esti and Wren also tucked into large plates of food in one cute video of them sitting together at a restaurant. "Look how good these babies are being," Teigen said in the background while panning the camera. As the lens stilled on Wren, he was seen digging his hand into a massive plate of french fries and chicken nuggets.
And the sibling love didn't stop there as Wren and Luna shared a sweet dance in another clip. The older sister sang and led the dance party in a rocker-esque outfit consisting of a pink and purple plaid skirt, tall black boots and a pink sweater. At one point, Wren coughed and sat on the floor before jumping up and demanding "more" dancing from his big sis.
And while Teigen is known for her cooking, Legend took over in the kitchen, whipping up some pancakes in another photo. The "All of Me" singer stood behind the stove in a casual black tee-shirt with a spatula in his hand. He appeared to be making two blueberry pancakes and a plain pancake.
However, Esti proved she didn't need anything fancy, eating shredded cheese out of a pink bowl. "We love cheese," Teigen said to her daughter. "Do you like cheese?" The toddler responded with a passionate "yeah" as she continued to eat.
And though Teigen loves all of Legend, he barely made it to her Top 5 list on Spotify Wrapped with the former Sports Illustrated model sharing a pic of her top artists, including Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and her hubby.
The family also got into some festive fun with photos of Luna and Esti painting, Esti holding two large balloons while posing in front of a pink Christmas tree and Teigen dressed up while holding a crying Wren, who was not interested in snapping a holiday pic.
And while he didn't appear in the main carousel, Miles did make a cameo when Teigen later shared a video on her Instagram Stories of herself cozied up on the coach with her oldest son and daughter Luna. "Esti, get in," she said in the video, while trying to get her daughter to pose along with the older kids. "Goodbye," Miles narrated as his younger sister walked away.
