How Cheryl Hines Went Platinum in Romona Keveza’s Metallic Gown Designed to ‘Show Off Her Silhouette’ With Robert F. Kennedy Jr at MAHA Rally
Cheryl Hines attended the MAHA Inaugural Ball (Make America Healthy Again) on Wednesday in D.C. with her husband, Robert F. Kennedy, who was tapped to lead Trump’s Health and Human Services Department, following the 2025 inauguration. The actress wore a platinum silk lamé chiffon gown from Romona Keveza. The off-the-shoulder design featured a draped sweetheart neckline, a softly draped bodice and a couture draped slim skirt.
Speaking to WWD, the designer of the namesake label shared insight into the design. “In the past few years, Cheryl has worn a variety of chic Romona Keveza cocktail looks at many red carpet events,” Keveza said. “She knows how to rock a Romona Keveza little black dress. However, for this special event, I felt inspired to offer Cheryl an unforgettable look — one for the history books.”

The designer emphasized the craftsmanship behind the gown, noting that it was made by hand in North America, with each detail pinned, draped and sewn by a team of female artisans. “This Romona Keveza platinum off-the-shoulder gown shows off Cheryl’s silhouette. The metallic platinum silk lamé chiffon fabric allows Cheryl to dazzle in the spotlight of the cameras, while the draped sweetheart neckline and softly draped bodice add a touch of femininity,” Keveza said. “Cheryl is a true Romona Keveza goddess.”
The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress paired the gown with minimal jewelry and sleek hair, keeping the focus on the structured draping of the dress. The look was in line with her previous appearances alongside RFK Jr., including to the Inauguration, where she wore a black and white houndstooth patterned blazer with statement gold buttons. She accessorized by carrying a black Valentino clutch with gold hardware.
Also during the Inagural week, the actress made yet another statement in the brand, this time at the Candlelight Inaugural Dinner on Jan. 20 at the National Building Museum. For the occasion, she opted for a black strapless gown featuring an asymmetric layered tulle skirt, cinched at the waist with a metallic belt. Keeping accessories minimal, she paired the look with a delicate gold necklace and dainty earrings.
