Carrie Bickmore tipped to return to screens with surprising Tommy Little double act

Rumours are swirling that former host of The Project Carrie Bickmore is set to return to our screens in the upcoming season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

TV insiders are speculating that Carrie's old network, Channel 10, is determined to get their golden girl back, and have a plan to lure her into the jungle by opening up the idea of making it a double act with her radio co-host Tommy Little.

In what could be a ratings hit, the mystery around Carrie and Tommy's relationship would be sure to draw in viewers, after persistent rumours that the two have been dating after Carrie's split from her ex-partner Chris Walker in January last year.

The two have never publicly commented on the romance rumours, but are known for their undeniable chemistry on their hit radio show as well as often being seen together at events, and last year taking their show on location and hosting it from Paris.

While Carrie or Tommy are yet to be confirmed for the show, insiders have been saying Carrie is ready to return to TV screens in 2024 after a break, with TV Blackbox reporting in October last year that Carrie was eyeing up a return with a hosting gig on Deal or No Deal.

Carrie lets loose in Bali

Carrie was most recently seen letting her hair down in Bali, living her best hot girl summer life with friends like Jackie O Henderson.

Carrie recently uploaded a photo to Instagram looking bronzed and radiant as she enjoyed a night out.

"Dance like somebody with a camera is watching," she captioned the post. "I reckon I could dance for 24 hours straight if you played the right tunes…I love it so much."

The fun night out comes after Jackie O uploaded a photo of the pair enjoying their well-deserved holiday break from their hit radio shows.

Jackie O commented on Carrie's pic, shedding a bit more light on their Bali adventures — not all of it good.

"Gimme those boat tunes - minus the Bali belly," she said. "I still tapped my toe between spews," Carrie joked back.

Now that she's survived Bali Belly, Carrie may be prepared to take on the jungle... we're keeping our fingers crossed!
