Tommy Little announces surprising career move after leaving The Project
The popular comedian has shared some exciting news with his fans.
He might not be a regular panellist on The Project anymore, but Tommy Little has been keeping himself busy with a surprising side hustle.
The 38-year-old comedian and radio host took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the release of his debut children’s book.
“My kids book ‘Who Took My Nuts?’ is here!” he wrote alongside a video of himself signing a copy.
“I hope you love it. It’s in all good bookstores and online and for the first week it’s only ten bucks. After the first week it goes up to $40000 dollars per copy.”

Hidden detail in Carrie Bickmore's post sends fans wild: 'Very relatable'
The Project called out for 'creepy' and 'disappointing' segment
The 32-page hardcover book, which is illustrated by Lucinda Gifford, is described as “a cheeky cautionary tale about selfishness and sharing”.
Tommy certainly isn’t the first Aussie comedian to release a children’s book, following in the footsteps of Andy Lee, Dave Hughes, Celeste Barber, Peter Helliar, Magda Szubanski, Adam Hills, Anh Do and Tanya Hennessy.
Hilarious detail in Tommy's post
While Tommy’s fans rushed to the comments to congratulate him on his exciting achievement, quite a few people pointed out a hilarious detail in his post.
In the video of Tommy signing a copy of his book, he appears to awkwardly pause halfway through writing his own name to make sure he spelt it correctly.
“As someone who also has two Ms in their name, that pause before the second M is very relatable,” one person wrote.

“The ‘Oh s**t is it 2 M’s’ got me haha,” another added, while a third said, “It’s the pause in spelling your own name for me!”
“Love how you almost forgot how to spell your name,” someone else laughed, while a different user remarked, “Little pause… is it 1 M or 2”.
Tommy joined The Project in 2017 and had a regular position on the Channel 10 current affairs show until last year when he left following the departure of both Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar.
However, he still works alongside Carrie on their national radio drive show Carrie & Tommy on the Hit Network.
