The actress spoke to PEOPLE at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday, Jan. 25
Carey Mulligan made filming her new movie a family affair.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday, Jan. 25, the actress, 39, who shares three children with her musician husband Marcus Mumford, spoke about how she balances parenting with work.
Mulligan, who plays the role of Nell Mortimer in the upcoming film The Ballad of Wallis Island, revealed she brought her third baby to set after giving birth.
“When they sent it to me, I said I'd love to do it, but I will have like a 12-week-old baby,” she tells PEOPLE. “And they were just amazing.”
Mulligan, who has not revealed the name of her daughter, adds, “She came with us. She was upstairs in every house that we filmed in and I would just do the scene, go up, see her, feed her, and then come back down.”
“So they made it incredibly easy and it was kind of lovely,” the Promising Young Woman star says.
