Bunnings $14 summer must have that shoppers are raving about: 'Game changer'
There's a hot new product selling out fast at Bunnings, pointing towards a new shopping trend.
Aussie shoppers are absolutely loving Bunnings' new pastel-coloured clam shell pools, with many running to their local store to obtain their own for a budget price of only $14. While people may use the pools for different intentions — for the kids to have a splash around in, for the dogs to cool down in, or for me, personally, to use as a place to store ice and drinks at the once-every-two-year house party I host, it turns out everyone was tired of the standard blue ones you get at other stores.
One shopper shared the good news that the pools were branching out colour-wise on Facebook, saying, "Heads up! Bunnings has pastel-coloured clam shell pools for just $14. So much nicer than the blue-coloured ones," and let's just say, the pools are now selling out fast.

The pretty pools are an absolute steal though, considering for $14 these days you can't get all that much — two iced lattes, one block of Cadbury chocolate, one wine at the pub — whereas now you could have a permanent clam shell pool that will brighten your summer months for a price cheaper than trying to find a carpark at Bondi.
Bunnings shoppers rave over $14 pastel pools
"They are so cute, about time someone changed them up," one person said. "I’ve been patiently waiting for my store to get the cream ones," another happy shopper commented.
"Wayyy prettier aesthetically than the bright blue or green," a third said.
However, a few people were initially confused by the photo, which got a lot of laughs. "I thought it was a cake at first then I read the description!" one person said, with another saying, "I thought they were shower trays. LOL Got temporarily excited cause they are the colours of 1940s bathrooms."
"About time! They should also make more shapes," one person suggested. "Bunnings you are a game-changer," another happy clam said.
Aussie shoppers loving pastel trend
While people speed (responsibly I hope) down to their nearest Bunnings, it's not hard to notice a new trend taking over Aussie stores from the snag palace itself to Kmart, and that my friends, is items for your house in pretty pastel tones.

Recently Aussie shoppers raved about Kmart's new $7 budget bathroom buys, including a ribbed soap dispenser, tray, and a tumbler in colours like lilac and peach. Some customers were overjoyed to find the budget retailer selling the cute decor, saying they had been about to buy similar products for more than 'double' the price at other retailers like Adairs.
"Pastel colours are a win. I bought two of the purple dishes. One for decor on my side table, the other holds my pens on my desk at work," one happy shopper said.
