Kmart shoppers go wild over new $7 budget buy: 'Double in Adairs'

Kmart fans are rushing to the homewares section to pick up some budget bathroom buys, with some likening the cute pastel products to similar ones you can find in more expensive stores. So if 2025 is the year your bathroom is due for a chic upgrade at a friendly cost, you know the old saying: it's time to run to Kmart, not walk.

The various items retail for $7 and include a ribbed soap dispenser, tray, and a tumbler in colours like lilac and peach. Some customers were overjoyed to find the budget retailer selling the cute decor, saying they had been about to buy similar products for more than 'double' the price at other retailers like Adairs.

Kmart fans go wild over cheap but cute bathroom decor

After one shopper uploaded a TikTok alerting everyone to the "super cute newbies" in store, if people weren't already flocking to Kmart, they were flocking to the comment section of the video app.

"Sigh. Ok, I’ll go to Kmart again," one person said. "I about to buy these from Adairs for double," another commented.

"So much brighter and nicer in person too!" another verified. "Pastel colours are a win. I bought two of the purple dishes. One for decor on my side table, the other holds my pens on my desk at work."

"LOVE, need these immediately," someone else said.

Rave reviews for budget bathroom buys

Some shoppers were eager to see the products expand colour offerings. "I wish they did this in black," a person after my own heart said.
