Bob Dylan isn’t planning on celebrating the success of the biopic A Complete Unknown by making stops in the country’s biggest cities. Instead, the living legend, 83, will perform in surprising cities in Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin and his home state of Minnesota to kick off the 2025 Never Ending Tour.

The spring tour will begin in Tulsa, Okla., the home of the Bob Dylan Center, on March 25 at the Tulsa Theater. Tickets are already on sale for the show at Dylan’s website.

Dylan will then visit Century II Concert Hall in Wichita, Kan., on March 29; Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato, Minn. on April 4; and The Weidner-Cofrin Family Hall in Green Bay, Wisc., on April 6. Tickets for those shows will go on sale on Friday, Jan. 31.

The “Like a Rolling Stone” singer has been on his Never Ending Tour since 1988, playing over 3,000 shows around the world. Since 2021, the tour has focused on songs from Dylan’s 2020 album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, with him and his band performing nearly every song from the record.

Over the summer, Dylan changed things up for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour alongside Willie Nelson. For those shows, Dylan’s setlist dropped most of the Rough and Rowdy Ways songs in favor of songs like “All Along the Watchtower” and “Things Have Changed.” He also tossed in surprising covers of blues classics and Grateful Dead songs just to keep fans on their toes.

The spring 2025 shows will also be Dylan’s first since the successful release of A Complete Unknown. Director James Mangold’s film features Timothée Chalamet as Dylan and tracks his early years in New York City, leading up to the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.

A Complete Unknown scored eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Chalamet, 29, and Best Director for Mangold. Edward Norton and Monica Barbaro earned nominations for their supporting performances as Pete Seeger and Joan Baez, respectively.

Chalamet’s performance also earned praise from Dylan himself.

"There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!)," Dylan wrote on X in December. "Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role. Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me."

Dylan went on to advise his fans to read Elijah Wald’s Dylan Goes Electric!, the book that Mangold and Jay Cocks’ Oscar-nominated script is based on. “It’s a fantastic retelling of events from the early ‘60s that led up to the fiasco at Newport,” Dylan wrote. “After you’ve seen the movie read the book.”

“Floored. I am so grateful,” Chalamet replied. “Thank you Bob.”

A Complete Unknown is now in theaters.
