Bindi Irwin shares new photo of baby Grace ahead of TV special
Bindi Irwin has released a new photo of her adorable newborn daughter, Grace Warrior, ahead of the Irwin’s new TV Special.
Crikey! It’s A Baby! Is set to air in May on Animal Planet and will detail everything from the excitement of Bindi and Chandler preparing for the birth of Grace, to the couple arriving home after to Australia Zoo.
The new photo shows a smitten Bindi lovingly gazing at her daughter, who is dressed in a brown and white striped babygrow and wearing a pink hat.
In the special, which is set to air on Saturday 22 May at 6:30pm, the lavish baby shower Terri Irwin threw her pregnant daughter will be shown, complete with animals, games, and Chandler’s parents attending via Zoom from the U.S.

In anticipation of her daughter welcoming her own child into the world, Terri will be seen on the show relating stories of Bindi’s birth and the hilarious lead up with Steve losing his keys in total panic, arriving at the hospital with a complete film crew in tow, and the pure joy of meeting his new daughter for the very first time.
It’s also set to show Chandler’s emotional surprise for Bindi on her last day of work at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and Robert Irwin preparing to become a ‘Funcle’ - fun uncle - by using his dog Stella to demonstrate his baby caring skills.
When it comes to the birth, the cameras were there to document Bindi packing her overnight back for the hospital, Robert providing updates from the hospital waiting room and Chandler and Bindi’s arrival home to Australia Zoo after Grace Warrior’s arrival.
Last Friday, Bindi took to her Instagram account to announce the arrival of her daughter.
Bindi revealed her daughter’s name - Grace Warrior Irwin Powell - is a touching tribute to her late father, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
“Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s,” Bindi explained.
“Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior.
“Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad.
“There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
Grace was born on Thursday evening weighing 7lbs 7oz and measuring 20 inches.
The baby was born on Bindi and Chandler's first wedding anniversary.
On March 25th 2020, Bindi and and Chandler married in a ‘small ceremony’ at Australia Zoo after being forced to move everything forward due to the coronavirus.
