Yahoo Lifestyle Ashley Graham's tiny yellow bikini revives two swimwear trends
The classic triangle bikini is a classic for a reason. Tieing around the neck and back leaving two triangles of fabric (hence the name) to cover your boobs, it's universally figure-flattering thanks to its adjustable nature. It's pretty straightforward, right?
Wrong. Cast your minds back to the summer of 2021 and you'll no doubt remember everyone was suddenly rotating their triangle tops after photos of Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian doing the same thing sparked the upside-down bikini trend. Yep, leave it to the Kardashian-Jenners to somehow reinvent the wheel.
Well, now it seems Ashley Graham is here to revive the look as she took to Instagram to share a video round-up of all the outfits she's worn while on holiday in Miami. Amongst the beach cover-ups and summer dresses, Ash could be spotted in the clip modelling a bright neon yellow two-piece, the ruching usually found under the bust sitting along the inner edge of the swimwear top to create a scoop neckline instead of the traditional V when the triangle top is worn the right way up.
Far from reviving one trend in her beach attire, the supermodel decided to take on two by donning swim skirt-style bikini bottoms. The high-waist bikini briefs featured an asymmetric overlay that wrapped around Ashley's hips. She shared a close-up look at her swimwear in a snap shared to her Instagram stories:
One follower took to the comments section to write, “Well now I need outfit details. Specifically that yellow bathing suit !” with a second replying in agreement, “this!! That yellow bathing suit ftw”.
Consider it official, we'll be recreating this outfit – ya know, as soon as summer makes an appearance this side of the pond.
