Big Brother crowns a winner in history-making finale: 'I can't believe it'
Big Brother Australia’s winner was crowned during a live finale on Tuesday night, with the winner taking home an eye-watering $250,000 prize.
Previous winner Reggie Bird, 48, was hoping to win over ‘challenge beast’ Taras Hrubyj-Piper, 34, and 25-year-old superfan Johnson Ashak.
As the housemates were waiting to hear how Australia voted, beloved housemate Reggie told host Sonia Kruger that she felt ‘sick’.
It came as no surprise when Sonia announced Reggie as the winner, with all the past housemates quickly coming to congratulate ‘Australia’s sweetheart’.
The two-time Big Brother winner now joins an elite club of stars to win the show twice, and she made history by being the first person in Australia to receive this honour.

“I can’t believe it,” Reggie told Sonia after the announcement.
“Thank you to everyone that voted for me - and I hope I did you all proud.”
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about the possibility of winning, the star told us that she was desperate to win for her kids.
“To win this, again, would be making history,” she said, excitedly.
“I’m proud of what I’ve done, I did it for my kids!”
Fans on social media celebrated Reggie’s history-making win.
“Reggie has been herself, hilarious, kind but still shady, a great player and never complained about anything or tried to pull the sympathy card. She deserves this SO much. Queen for a reason,” one person wrote.
“Congratulations sweetheart, you not only won Australia’s heart once, but now twice. You deserve to be the winner that you truly are in every way,” another gushed.
“Reggie deserves the win. I don’t care what anyone else says,” a third wrote.
