Yahoo Lifestyle 'Below Deck's Captain Jason Jokes He'd Throw Adriana de Moura 'Overboard' After Their Ill-Fated Date (Exclusive)
Captain Jason Chambers is dishing all about his dinner date with Adriana de Moura.
The Below Deck Down Under star, 53, detailed his night out in 2023 with Real Housewives of Miami's de Moura, 59, while chatting exclusively with Parade, where he played an innocent game of "Aye, Aye, Caption or Throw Overboard" with fellow Bravo personalities.
"That's [an] 'overboard,'" Chambers joked to Parade's Kelsey Barberio after de Moura's name was thrown around, giving more insight into the pair's date. "Nothing happened. She's a nice person and I had a great time with her! We had a nice dinner."
Quickly changing his decision, Chambers said with a smile, "I'll 'aye, aye' it, because I was probably being a bit tit for tat" before describing their time together as "platonic and simple," and that their date was "made out to be" more than it was.
(To his point: de Moura previously claimed during a panel at BravoCon in November 2023 that she and "Captain Cutie" went out multiple times after he slid into her DMs. She also claimed they "kissed under the moonlight" after their first date, which she claimed was at her home.)
Chambers also addressed the duo's hang out during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Monday, Feb. 3, after a fan called in and asked what his reaction was to de Moura sharing her story of their alleged rendezvous and what "actually happened" between them.
"Nothing happened. We went out for dinner and that was it. I gave her a nice gentlemanly kiss goodnight and drove away. And that's it," he said, adding that the date was not at her house, but at a Brazilian bar.
