Bachelor Matt Agnew unrecognisable in new selfie: ‘Just got hotter’
Former Bachelor Matt Agnew has jumped on the lockdown bandwagon of trying out different hairstyles and growing facial hair while stuck at home.
The 34-year-old debuted his new appearance on social media on Sunday, looking unrecognisable from his time on reality TV in 2019.
Instead of his usual short haircut and clean-shaven face, Matt showed off his impressive beard and long hair tied into a man bun in the new selfie.
“Tell me you’re in lockdown, without telling me you’re in lockdown,” he captioned the post.
The astrophysicist previously unveiled his longer ‘do earlier this year, but this is the first time he’s shared a photo of his beard.
Fans rushed to the comments to praise Matt’s makeover, including ex-Bachelor Sam Wood who wrote, “suits you mate”.
“Is that Chris Hemsworth’s brother? I like it!” a follower wrote.
“Looking like you are on the set of Braveheart,” another remarked, while someone else said, “Outlander vibes”.

A fifth commented: “You look the best you’ve ever looked.”
One person was less complimentary about Matt’s appearance, saying that he “looked so much nicer on The Bachelor”.
“Variety is the spice of life!” he replied.
Matt's social media post comes shortly after his Bachelor runner-up Abbie Chatfield recently re-watched her season finale and documented it on Instagram.
The I’m A Celebrity queen told her followers, “Honestly, I will not stand for an iota of Matt slander, he is the nicest man I've ever met.”
She also commented on the moment that Matt stood up to his friend Kate, who clearly disliked Abbie.
“See, he still defended me,” she said. “He was so beautiful to me. No matter what anyone says, he was so hot, and smart, and funny. You know, we love Matt.
“Just, you know, too bad it didn't work out," she added with a laugh. ”We can't force people to love us, you know. I wish we could!”
