Ariana Grande Favors Retro Glamour in Floral Armani Privé Dress for Virtuosos Award Ceremony at 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival
Ariana Grande was pretty in pink at the Virtuosos Award ceremony during the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Sunday. The actress and singer was recognized for her role as Glinda in “Wicked.”
Grande modeled her character’s signature color in an Armani Privé dress from the label’s fall 2022 couture collection. Featuring floral appliqués, crystallized straps and a flared tulle skirt, the “Eternal Sunshine” artist accessorized her vintage-inspired frock with jeweled earrings and rings.

Stylist Mimi Cuttrell, who also counts Gigi Hadid and Maude Apatow as clients, dressed Grande for the occasion.
The Oscar nominee wore her dark blond tresses in a sleek updo, while her makeup consisted of pale pink eye shadow, rosy blush and mauve lip liner.
Grande also channeled retro glamour at the 2025 Golden Globes in January, where she wore a pastel yellow Givenchy gown from the label’s spring 1966 couture collection. Stuart Weitzman heels and Swarovski jewelry topped off her ensemble.
Grande’s look drew comparisons to Audrey Hepburn, who frequently wore designs custom-made by the label’s eponymous founder, Hubert de Givenchy.
At the Golden Globes, “Wicked” picked up the award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement for its record-breaking performance in theaters. The film is the highest-grossing release of a musical adaptation in history. Last year, the newly introduced award went to Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie.”
“Wicked” picked up 10 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Costume Design. Grande is up for Best Supporting Actress, marking her first Oscar nod. She celebrated the news on Instagram, writing, “Picking my head up in between sobs to say thank you so much to @theacademy for this unfathomable recognition.”
