Ariana Grande set the record straight about her relationship with cosmetic injectables after jokingly referring to using them at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan 3.

In an interview snippet posted on Entertainment Tonight’s TikTok, the Wicked star, 31, clarified that she’s still “four years clean” from Botox and fillers after quitting them, despite the quip she made in her Rising Star Award acceptance speech, in which she also jokingly referred to herself as a “slightly withering" and “drooping star."

However, the singer and actress — who recently attended the 2025 Golden Globes in an archival S/S 1996 Haute Couture Hubert de Givenchy gown — said if she ever decides to make some tweaks to her appearance again, she’ll be sure to let everyone know.

“I really want to be transparent as a beauty founder, as the founder of r.e.m. beauty,” she said, referring to the makeup brand she founded in November 2021. But those updates don't seem to be coming any time soon, as Grande added that she's loving her fine lines.

Grande previously spoke about stopping Botox and fillers in a September 2023 episode of Vogue Beauty Secrets, sharing that she felt like she was "hiding" behind the treatments.

She went on to explain that, as she gets older, she’s ready to embrace the “well-earned cry lines and smile lines.”

"I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper. And I laugh more and more and I just think aging can be such a beautiful thing,” she said at the time.

In November, Grande opened up about Hollywood’s immeasurable beauty standards, choking up as she addressed criticism around her image, especially as comments around her body increased while she promoted Wicked.

“I’ve been doing this in front of the public and been a specimen in a Petri dish really since I was 16 or 17. I have heard it all. I’ve heard every version of it,” Grande told French content creator Crazy Sally in an interview released on Dec. 5.

“I’m really lucky to have the support system that I have and to just know and trust that I’m beautiful. But I do know what the pressure of that noise feels like. It’s been a resident in my life since I was 17. I just don’t invite it in anymore. I have work to do, I have a life to live, I have friends to love on. I have so much love. It’s not invited, so I don’t leave space for it anymore.”
