Ariana Grande Celebrates Brother Frankie's 42nd Birthday with Sweet Tribute: 'You Are Sunshine Personified'

Ariana Grande is celebrating her brother Frankie on his special day!

On Friday, Jan. 24, the Wicked actress paid tribute to her brother on her Instagram Stories in honor of his 42nd birthday.

"Happy birthday to this beautiful human being @frankiejgrande !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ariana, 31, began, posting a picture of her and her big brother embracing.

"I am so proud of you! thank you for being such an inextinguishable bright light and inspiration in all of our lives, for your heart that is larger than life, and bringing so much joy everywhere you go!!!" she continued.

"You are sunshine personified and we are all so lucky to know and be loved by you," the "thank u, next" singer added before signing off with, "I love you."

Frankie re-shared Ariana's Story, writing: "Weeping. I love you so much my sister. Thank you for ALWAYS being there for me. Can't wait for all the adventures we will go on together on this rotation around the sun. I'm so blessed to have you in my life."

Ariana's post for her brother's birthday comes the day after Academy Award nominations were announced, where she was nominated for best supporting actress for her role as Glinda in Wicked.

"Picking my head up in between sobs to say thank you so much to @theacademy for this unfathomable recognition. i cannot stop crying, to no one’s surprise," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a picture of her dressed up as Dorothy as a child.

"I’m humbled and deeply honored to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered. i’m so proud of you, tiny," she continued.

Ariana also thanked Wicked director Jon M. Chu and her costar Cynthia Erivo, who portrayed Elphaba. Erivo, 38, also received an Oscar nomination for best actress.

In addition to Ariana and Erivo's nods, Wicked was also nominated for best motion picture of the year, best achievement in production design, best sound, best achievement in visual effects, best achievement in costume design, best achievement in film editing, best achievement in hair and makeup styling and best achievement in music written for motion pictures.

Conan O'Brien will host the Oscars ceremony, which will air live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2 at 7 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu.
