Are MAFS' Morena Farina and Tony Mojanovski still together?

Australia fell in love with Married At First Sight’s Morena Farina and Tony Mojanovski during Sunday night’s episode when this season’s oldest couple tied the knot. The pair, who have both been married before, immediately hit it off and their future looked bright in the experiment.

As fans begin to speculate whether they’re still together in real life, Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal exactly how things pan out for Morena and Tony on the reality show.

In September, Yahoo Lifestyle first ran exclusive pictures of the 57-year-old bride appearing to be kicked off the show and leaving the experiment under “bizarre” circumstances – with Tony, 53, snapped shortly afterwards with a huge smile on his face.

The mum-of-two looked downcast as she sat on a bench outside the cast’s apartment building in Sydney’s Green Square with her luggage while waiting for a taxi to the airport.

A paparazzi photographer who covers MAFS every year told Yahoo Lifestyle the incident was “very strange”.

“Usually when a couple or cast member leaves the show they have to film a whole exit sequence in the underground car park and leave in private,” they explained.

“They do this to avoid anyone taking any spoiler pictures of them leaving with their suitcases, as these pictures prove the couples split up – but this was so weird. It’s like she was just kicked off the show, evicted from the building and no one wanted anything to do with her anymore. Producers didn’t even order her a car to take her to the airport or try to hide her from us [the press].”

Morena tipped to be this year's 'villain'

Former MAFS groom Dean Wells, who appeared on season five in 2018, recently teased that Morena might be this year’s ‘villain’ thanks to her no-holds-barred personality.

He told SkyNews.com.au last week that Morena repeatedly called out producers during filming and “blew up” when she found out Tony is still legally married to his ex-wife.

“Morena could well be the villain,” Dean said. “I know she has some pretty big issues with the production team and the whole process and the way she was treated, and I know she does some stuff on camera like call out the producer.

“She's not going to let the process or the manipulation get in the way of her just being herself.”

Who is Morena Farina?

Morena Farina is a 57-year-old DJ and fitness instructor who holds the title of being the oldest bride in MAFS history. After ending her 29-year marriage over seven years ago, the mother-of-two has learnt to put herself first and not lower her standards.
