Plot details are under wraps for the Escape Artists and Mattel Films production. In the 1980s toy line and early 1980s cartoon series, Castle Grayskull is the target of numerous attacks by Skeletor, Hordak and the Snake Men, all of whom believe the secrets inside will allow them to conquer Eternia and the entire universe, thus becoming the Masters of the Universe. The castle is instrumental in the transformation of He-Man.

The Sorceress watches over Castle Grayskull, guarding the secrets and wisdom contained therein. She is also the mother of Teela in the earlier part of the Masters of the Universe canon. She’s quite the powerful force and can only use her abilities when confined in the castle. Outside Grayskull, she becomes Zoar, a falcon, who communicates telepathically with trusted friends.

Fisto is muscular dude, much like He-Man. He begins as a villain before becoming a hero; Skeletor names the guy the ruler of the forest. Fisto gets his name from his huge, mailed fist. He also has talent for trapping and training wild animals; he has a pet Arachna.

Baccarin can be seen starring in the sci-fi thriller Elevation and in Edward Burns’ film Millers in Marriage. Additional film credits include Deadpool, Deadpool & Wolverine, Fast Charlie, The Good House and Ode to Joy. On the television side, credits include Homeland, which earned her an Emmy nomination, Joss Whedon’s Firefly, Fox’s Gotham, ABC’s V and The Mentalist. Up next, she is set to star in The Wrecking Crew opposite Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa for Amazon MGM Studios. The actress is represented by UTA, Seven Summits Pictures and Management, and Schreck Rose Dapello.

Jóhannesson’s next role is that of Copperhead in this weekend’s Marvel Studios movie Captain America: Brave New World. Additional film credits include Paramount‘s Infinite, the indie feature Zone 414, Albert Hughes’ Alpha and Sony’s Bloodshot. On the television side, Jóhannesson can be seen in SuccessionThose About to DieVikings: Valhalla, The Witcher, on Netflix’s The Last Kingdom, and he recurred on the HBO hit series Game of Thrones.
