Ali Fedotowsky-Manno is opening up about the moment she knew she was "done" with Hollywood.

The Bachelorette alum, 40, opened up about the life-changing revelation to Savannah Chrisley during a Jan. 21 episode of her Unlocked podcast.

“We moved [to Nashville] because we were living in L.A. and my husband — we were both working in the entertainment industry — my husband’s a radio host and I worked in television on Hallmark Channel up until the day we left L.A,” Fedotowsky-Manno explained during the episode.

She continued, “I said to my agent, ‘I’m done. I don’t want to work in Hollywood anymore. I’m done with the industry. I want to move to Nashville with my family and have a quiet little life.’ And that’s what we did.”

When Chrisley asks about the exact moment that drove Fedotowsky-Manno away from L.A., the reality star dives deeper into what she didn’t like about the industry.

“There’s a lot of bullying in the entertainment industry and I don’t think people see it. It’s very cutthroat, and I just felt in a lot of different circumstances, just a lot of hate. I did not care for all that,” she explains.

She adds that she often felt like people were never present when they were having a conversation with her. Chrisley chimes in, adding, it’s like they’re always looking for “the next best thing.”

“I was just like, ‘I’m so over this. I’m so tired of it.’ I really wanted to get that out of my life,” says Fedotowsky-Manno.

Following her family’s move to Tennessee in 2021, Fedotowsky-Manno opened up to PEOPLE about how difficult the transition was for her at first. She shares daughter Molly Sullivan, 8, and son Riley Doran, 6, with husband Kevin Manno.

"When I first moved here, I was really feeling down about wondering if we made the right choice," she told PEOPLE at the time. "I knew we had to give it time, but I definitely was feeling down with the transition."

"Transitions are hard for everybody. It doesn't matter who you are, or what you do, or how much money you have or whatever it may be. Transitions to anywhere are a horrid thing," she added. "There were times definitely where I just missed my girlfriends."

She eventually warmed up to the idea of reality TV again, as she joined the cast of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test and endured an intense training schedule alongside some of the show’s other stars, including Trista Sutter, Denise Richards and Stephen Baldwin. However, she was forced to leave season 3 training early after an injury.
